A couple of weeks ago, Darin was in Arizona for business and I went out for the weekend to meet him. We hiked Camel Back Mountain for the first time and it was AMAZINGLY beautiful! Talk about nature's perfection! WOW!

One of the views on the climb up. I loved the hike so much that I went back the next morning and did it again by myself! Breath taking and a good reminder of that life is perfect just as it is!
“Perfection is reached not when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.”

We know what to do to be healthy. There is no magic formula. If we take a moment, get quiet and tune in, our body tells us what it needs. It might be rest, stress relief or a way to express our thoughts or feelings. Once we have identified what we really need, we can act on it accordingly rather than trying to medicate every life experience with food.
Take away the fear and the anxiety of feeling like you “Have to lose this weight” and just trust the process and yourself. Start to let it happen naturally and remember you are certainly NOT alone. There is no food we cannot have in proper portions and we need not be scared that weight goals won’t be achieved. You are perfect as you are for this day, so act like it by being respectful of yourself and paying attention to what you are doing. You know what to do….so trust yourself and do it.
Hi Terra! I freaked out a little bit when I saw your photos. I’m in Tucson working a meeting for 8 days (and thought you might be in the area). WOW. I have gotten way off track, and I’m flat out admitting it. Hotel food for this many days in a row is not good. We are working very very long hours, so comfort food has made its way on my plate. And I’m just exhausted. I did bring a jump rope and a list of floor exercises which I did the first 2 days – but ZERO energy since then to get moving. It is beautiful here, but I can’t wait to get back home and get back in my routine.
