Karen Holt’s daughter, Megan, posted the following comment on my blog and it was meant for all of us, so I am re-posting it as an entry for everyone to read.
For those of you that didn’t have the good fortune of knowing Karen (pictured above), she was the Weight Watchers Center Coordinator for the North Aurora and South Elgin locations and had been a receptionist for over 10 years. Karen was a good friend and touched countless lives of people in the Weight Watchers community. Her sudden passing on Thursday, August 30th has been extremely difficult. She is dearly missed.

My family and I are very grateful for all of the love and support that Weight Watchers has expressed. Karen, my mother, regarded each of you as dear and close friends. I loved Karen! She was so encouraging and always had a huge smile. I haven’t seen her in a long time, but have thought of her often. I will keep her and her family and friends in my prayers
