“Sometimes the most urgent and vital thing you can possibly do is take a complete rest. ————-Benjamin Franklin ****************************””Complete rest””? What’s that and whatever it is, who’s got time for it?? That’s how I used to feel but I’m learning that quite often when I think I “”need”” a snack, no matter how healthy the food is, what I could really use is just a break. A rest. Ahhhhh and a “”complete rest”” would be the ultimate! So let’s treat ourselves to some much needed R+R without the use of food when we are not hungry. I admit, it feels weird at first but often times it’s what our body and mind really crave if we listen to them closely. We turn to food out of habit but it never really satisfies the feeling because food only satisfies physical hunger. If your not hungry, food isn’t the answer. Try it! I will if you do!!
