Tracking Your Food Intake = Knowledge = POWER

The research shows it over and over….tracking what you eat is a key contributor to weight loss.  Now is the time to re-commit to diligent tracking if you the scale isn’t giving you the feedback you want.

We track to show ourselves a record of what we have eaten, how much and when. What tracking is NOT is a record of perfection and it certainly does not define us a people, so be honest with yourself!   If we only write down when we are perfect, we have missed the point and our weight loss will more than likely be affected.

Don’t be afraid to write down every bite, lick and taste you consume. It’s not a contest and no one is going to post your tracker on the internet for everyone to read!!! This is for YOU to give YOURSELF a reality check, that’s all! If at the end of the day you don’t like what you see, make different choices tomorrow. We are evolving into healthier more balanced people and writing down what we eat on our journey is critical to our progress.

“Knowledge is power” and that applies to knowing ourselves better as well. Just because you didn’t write it down doesn’t mean it didn’t happen or doesn’t count. No more fooling ourselves! Open that tracker to a fresh page and as I tell my boys: Let’s all “MAKE GOOD CHOICES” today!
