Low Calorie Pesto Sauce Recipe

This healthier, low calorie version of a traditional pesto sauce recipe, is a truly a force to be reckoned with. Enjoy all the flavors you love. Serve it over chicken, fish, pasta, pizza…whatever your pesto loving heart desires. And indulge, knowing that this easy pesto sauce is guilt free!

Ingredients
1 cup fresh basil, firmly packed
1/2 cup fresh parsley
2 Roma tomatoes, chopped
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup olive oil
2 tbsp pine nuts
4 garlic cloves
2 tbs fat free vegetable broth
1 tsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 tsp salt, or more to taste
1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
Place all ingredients into a food processor and blend to desired consistency. Refrigerate or freeze until ready to use.
