You are never too old for the annual “First Day of School Photo” at my house! Cole heading off to the first day of his sophomore year at Kaneland High School and Chase starting 5th grade. Wow…time flies!!!!
In one hand we have a box of Kleenex as we send our kids off to school and in other a bottle of champagne to celebrate getting our lives back to ourselves! What a mix of emotions! It doesn’t matter if it’s the first day of kindergarten or the first day of college….it’s a changing of the season and a new chapter and it is happy and sad all at once. Ahhh..LIFE!
Now that they are back in a routine….it’s our turn! It’s fall, the weather is beautiful and crisp and we have a little more time to get back to focusing on our health and well being. As you can see…I am back to writing the blog!
