It doesn’t matter how big the goal is….we all start out the same way…ONE STEP AT A TIME.  It’s no different with weight loss. Whether it’s 10 pounds or 110 pounds, we all start by losing one.  Small changes, done consistently over time can equal big, big results.

When it comes to weight loss and making healthy choices, it really doesn’t take much to start to feel results.  The hardest part?  Getting started. Just doing something and realizing each small change is enough. That each small change is worth it and to motivate ourselves to keep going.  And this is where I know I can be of help….

    I agree with your inclusion of “time management” in achieving goals. For me, it was just as important as choosing food or becoming active. If I’m running back and forth doing things with no plan, I get only half as much done as when I take a few minutes to plan out my day or week. And at that point all thoughts of healthy foods fly out the window. One of the first things I learned at WW was “pack a snack.” It changed my life…I no longer have to head to a drive-through lane if I’m suddenly hungry while running errands.
    I wish you would post the list of action steps for achieving goals that you had on the flip chart at the Tuesday meeting. It was great, but I forgot to write it down.

    If I’m a lifetime member but canceled my membership and now have gained 5 lbs over my goal would I still be considered a new member and be eligible for a free starter kit? Or is it for new members only?
