OMGosh…Confessions of a Weight Watchers Leader here!!! Train wreak of a weekend for me when it came to eating! I’m so mad, sad and disappointed in myself!! I exercised like crazy but I also ate like crazy and I’m attacking today with a vengeance!
What happened?? Nothing! That’s what bums me out! It wasn’t a holiday, a celebration or anything special. It was negative self talk, fear and a little panic about recovering from the last month of treats that I am trying to work off. I psyched myself out and the eating followed suit. Ugh.
I know you read this blog for inspiration but I had to share my personal frustration with myself. Sometimes Weight Watchers is easy and sometimes it’s hard and this last weekend, for me, it was a huge struggle!
But, as Mr. Iacocca is quoted as saying…DO SOMETHING, DO ANYTHING. I got up super early and I’m writing this blog as I finish a long stationary bike workout. It’s quite a site, but I don’t care, as you see from the ridiculous photo I took of myself to show you! The sweat feels good and so does this putting my feelings out here to you. Even though I didn’t do it this weekend, I know I can make good choices today. I know I can and so can you.
We are in this together, my friends. It’s a new day, new start….Let’s get back to it!!! The only way to eat a dinosaur is one bite at a time!! Whether you’ve got 5 pounds or 105 pounds to lose, we all have to do the same things and we all can only control what we do THIS minute on THIS day.
