PEACE.
It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things, and still be CALM IN YOUR HEART.

Happy Monday!!! I don’t know who wrote the above quote, but I definitely believe it to be true. If we spend our time waiting for the noise and trouble to break free for the perfect time, we will be waiting a lifetime and certainly missing out along the way.
I’ve noticed this in weight-loss too. There is no “ideal” time or “easy” time to start (or re-start) our healthy habits. The time is always NOW. Making peace with our current situation, finding the “calm in our hearts” this moment, is the best way to move forward, knowing that all is well.
We may not be able to control the chaos that surrounds us, but we can most certainly control how we handle our thoughts, feelings and actions. Finding the good in where we are right now allows joy into our experience. Being in a state of gratitude is the most effective place to begin any change.
Isn’t it empowering to remember we have the ability to choose new thoughts and shift our perspective at anytime???
The thoughts you choose to think as this new week begins affect how you feel. How you’re feeling often dictates your behaviors and actions. The choice is each of ours. Choose wisely, my dear friend!!
All is well❤️

So true! Our mindset makes such a difference. When I have trouble looking for things to be thankful for, I remember a quote from another friend, “Instead of worrying about the problems you have, be thankful for the ones you don’t.” So glad you are blogging again! Miss you, friend!
Instead of worrying about the problems you have, be thankful for the ones you don’t……❤️❤️❤️❤️ this! Thanks Claudia
Great thoughts.. thank you ❤️

Amen, absolutely. That has been my attitude towards cancer as well. There are so many positive moments in this journey. Nothing can take your peace unless you let it.
