
Weekends can be a challenge when it comes to staying consistent with our healthy behaviors, but having a realistic plan makes all the difference!!
MyWW is structured to provide flexibility and livability for times like the weekends. We know a normal Tuesday night looks very different than a Saturday night for most of us. Our goal is to balance healthy eating with enjoying life!! So take a few minutes today to think about what you’d like to have happen this weekend and make a plan to do it.
If weekends have been a challenge, here are my suggested steps to consider before it starts:
1. Determine what days/times/meals specifically have tripped you up in the past.
2. Next, pre-track what this weekend might look like at those times. Just guess for now! You can always go back and add or delete what you track.
3. Go ahead and allocate some of your Weeklies and/or rollovers to that meal or day.
4. Be realistic so that you feel your plan is truly doable. Like dessert? Work it in! A glass of wine? Work it in! If you try to eliminate your weekend favorites all together, you’re likely to have them any way, so just plan it out!
You’ll notice as you think through the weekend before it happens, it is totally possible to have the foods you enjoy when we plan for them using balance and moderation.
