“Ahhhh…the first day of a new week and new month! For those of us who love order, it’s the perfect day to start a fresh chapter in our healthy lifestyle journey!! A new beginning, so to speak, gives us a clean slate to do with whatever we choose. If you feel like you are having a fabulous winter and making healthy choices…keep doing what you’re doing. If you feel like you have been in deep hibernation mode since the new year began, let’s use this time to come together and start to shed our winter coats. Although it doesn’t feel like it, spring really is just around the corner but let’s not wait until then to make better choices. “Inch by inch, life’s a cinch, Yard by yard, it can feel very hard.”– What is one thing you can commit to this month that will “inch” you closer to your weight goal? Don’t bombard yourself with unrealistic lists of goals that you will forget about by next week. Commit to one thing and do it well. It allows us not only to make progress but to feel the energy of accomplishing what we set out to do. We can accomplish anything….we just need to be reminded occasionally!—–
