“Never regret anything because at one time it was what you wanted.” – unknown
Memorial Day is behind us and it’s back to our regular routine! No matter what your last few days entailed, do not let remorse enter your thought. We don’t have time for regret, guilt or fear over something past. If you didn’t make the healthiest choices possible, don’t look back on it as a mistake. Look back on it as a break from routine, which you must have needed, and get right back on track. This is a marathon NOT a sprint, therefore you are going to have ups and downs, highs and lows and that’s just the TRUTH of this on-going journey through life. DO NOT let one weekend bring you down…it was exactly as it was supposed to be and it cannot be changed. No one makes perfect choices every minute of every day. Today is a new day and it feels good to get ourselves back on track and in control.

I spent the long weekend in down-state Illinois visiting my parents and family who live there. The above picture is of just ONE of the ginormous hills on my cousin Tracie’s “BUTTS AND GUTS” route!! She walks it all the time and let me tell you, it’s a killer! Thanks for pushing my limits this weekend, Trac, and taking me with you! PHEW!!
