Happy Memorial Day Weekend!!!

As promised, I’m trying to make up for a couple of missed Tasty Tuesdays!

I really wanted to get this one out to you before the long weekend is over because I think it could come in very handy during our celebrating.

After all, who can’t use an awesome pie recipe???????

THANKS to my incredibly sweet friend Marge for writing up the recipe, emailing it to me AND taking photos as she made it so that I can share them with YOU. All while I sat at Chase’s baseball tourney in the rain! THANK YOU, MARGE! I don’t know when I would have found the time to do all this today:-)

Feel free to substitute different flavors of pudding and jello mixes as well as different fruits.

I’ve heard great feedback from all the varieties tried. Let me know your favorite!

1 small box fat free sugar free pudding

1 small box sugar free jello

Fruit of choice

First I sprayed an 8 1/2″ pyrex pie plate with pam. I chopped about 5 large strawberries and put them in the pie plate

Next, in a med bowl mix 1 small box of sugar free instant vanilla pudding mixed with 1 1/2 cups of water.
I then added to the pudding, 1 small box of sugar free strawberry jello I had dissolved in 1/4 cup boiling water and mixed all of it together.

I poured the the mixture over the strawberries, covered with plastic wrap and cooled at least 5 hours. I sliced strawberries very thin and added them to the top of the pie.

Bob and I both thought it was delicious and I’ll certainly make it again.

Enjoy!

The picture below is of the berries before the sugar free jello and sugar free fat free pudding mixture was poured over….
