It’s another VERY Tasty Tuesday if you like appetizer type foods, like I do!!!

A HUGE shout out to Judie for sharing this food idea. It’s so simple but so clever, not to mention YUMMY! Just the way we like it!!!

Light string cheese is a fav of mine and I have been know to melt it in the microwave before eating, but baking it with panko crumbs and making faux fried cheese balls never crossed my mind! Brilliant!

Hi Terra!

Here is the recipe for cheese balls, I have not made them yet, but my sister in law is making thm this weekend, so I’ll give you her feedback. She is a professional chef.

BAKED CHEESE BALLS

INGREDIENTS

Lite string cheese

Panko Bread Crumbs

Skim Milk

Preheat oven 425 degrees

Cut string cheese into bite size pieces.
Dip in skim milk, and then roll in bread crumbs or panko.

Place on cookie sheet coated with parchment paper.
Bake 7-10 minutes

Serve with marinara.
