It really IS that simple and that enjoyable, if we can let it be! Let’s not make a “mountain out of a mole hill” here because we are shifting to eating a little less and moving a little more! We are not only getting healthy, we are IMPROVING our overall quality of life. Moderation helps us to do that. Eating in moderation and moving in moderation FEELS GOOD! Let’s let that be our motivation rather than focusing on the scale. Too much of anything isn’t good and causes us to appreciate less. I know sometimes in the moment, it feels like the progress is moving along at a turtle’s pace but it’s all just your perception.

If you are seeing this as a race with a finish line, I suppose it would feel slow, but if you are seeing this as what is really is: Your journey through life, that you get one shot at, it’s anything but slow. Today will only happen once, so decided exactly how you want to spend it.
