
Then & Now

Each of us is the expert on ourselves and what I’ve learned on my wellness journey is that freedom, flexibility and the power of a supportive community is the perfect fit for me! Weight Watchers provided that at a time when I needed it most. I joined in the year 2000 when I hit my highest weight and probably the lowest self esteem I’d ever experienced. After losing 75 pounds and accomplishing Weight Watcher’s “Lifetime” status in 2002, I’ve maintained my weight within the healthy BMI range for over 23 years.
Overjoyed, grateful and incredibly excited to share my success, I became a Weight Watchers Coach in 2003. I continued coaching in Studios and as one of the first National Virtual Coaches on the Weight Watchers app when virtual workshops launched worldwide in 2021. I loved the WW community and experiencing the diversity of coaching in a large workshop setting filled with people from all over the country!


Out of my love for coaching large groups, came my desire to be able to expand and go deeper in a confidential, one-on-one and/or small group setting. A healthy weight, which is different for each of us, is a part of health and wellness but it doesn’t always start there. Health and wellness encompasses mind, body and spirit. When approached as simply a number to move on the scale, the results are often temporary or never happen. In my practice as a Certified Health and Wellness Coach, we take a holistic approach to weight loss and wellness and I help my clients process what parts of their lives are working to support their wellness and what parts are not in a non judgmental, creative space that allows for discovering new ideas and pathways to their success. We work together to customize systems to fit their specific lifestyle. One-on-one and small group coaching allows me to ask short but powerful questions specific to my clients and then engage in deep, empathetic listening to really hear what they are saying.
One of my strongest skills as a Coach is creating a safe, non judgemental space for my clients to be able to process their thoughts, feelings and emotions and learn to think outside of the box of the diet culture that has been so pervasive in our society. Fresh insights and learnings emerge from this and we partner to create well designed action plans that not only move them closer to their outcome goals but also bring joy and satisfaction in the process.
