At our Weight Watchers meeting last week, a member shared her baked apple recipe with us and it was SO delicious I thought I’d pass it along to everyone!
Very simple and great tasting, it will also make your kitchen smell heavenly!
Ingredients
4 apples, peeled and cut into pieces (I prefer Granny Smith apples, but any variety will work)
1 can of diet soda (I used diet sprite but diet black cherry was recommended)
A sprinkle of cinnamon
Directions
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees
Spray a baking dish with butter flavored non stick cooking spray.
Place apples in baking dish.
Pour the entire can of soda over the apples and sprinkle with cinnamon.
Bake for 45 minutes or until the apples are tender.
