Hope your week has started off to be a fabulous one, and Happy Tasty Tuesday!! Today’s recipe is the Pumpkin Pie Smoothie, and I cannot speak highly enough about it. This is one of those smoothies that never gets old, and can quickly become something you make multiple times a week! Of course the only mandatory requirement for this smoothie is that you enjoy pumpkin, and if that is you then I promise you’ll love this. Upon first glance at the recipe list, I know the cottage cheese may sound a little weird. However, if you blend your smoothie to a creamy and smooth consistency, you’ll totally forget you even added it! On another note, we use the frozen banana to provide the cold temperature of the smoothie, but if you forgot to freeze your bananas (happens to me all the time), then just use ice and don’t think twice about it. And finally, if you happen to have nutmeg around the house, I totally recommend shaving a bit of it into the smoothie, its delicious! Pumpkin Pie Smoothie
Equipment
- 1 Blender
Ingredients
- 0.5 cup Fat Free Cottage Cheese
- 0.5 cup Fat Free Vanilla Yogurt
- 0.5 cup Pumpkin Puree
- 0.5 cup Skim Milk
- 1 Frozen Banana
- 1 Vanilla Smoothie Mix
- 0.5 tsp Pumpin Pie Spice
- 1 tbsp Splenda
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in Blender
- Blend until smooth and creamy
- Pour into glasses and Enjoy!
